Purposeful coffee: A space where finance meets sustainability
On Thursday, May 22, we held the first breakfast of Purposeful coffee: Green Thursdays, marking the beginning of a series of gatherings promoted by Fundación PROFIN and Développement international Desjardins (DID). In this space, more than 30 representatives from various financial institutions, non-governmental organizations, cooperation agencies, experts, and committed allies came together to learn, reflect, and take action on sustainable finance, climate financing, and biodiversity.
This first Purposeful coffee: Green Thursdays featured the valuable participation of Miguel Vallone, an international expert in Sustainable Finance, who shared his insights on the opportunities that exist in Bolivia and the region to align finance with environmental challenges.
With inspiring presentations, open dialogue, and a shared vision, we began this journey of collective learning aimed at generating evidence, strengthening capacities, and building solutions from the local level toward a greener future.
The participating entities reaffirmed their commitment to continue coordinating efforts in this space for learning and exchange — one that not only informs, but transforms.
Because big changes start with conversations that have purpose!
